How We Replace Lost Keys
The method depends on the vehicle. We’ll explain any bench work or parts needed before starting.
Vehicle Entry
We check your authority to request the work, assess the lock and use a suitable non-destructive entry method where possible. Any existing damage, access limitations or proposed lock repairs are discussed with you.
Lock Decoding
Where a blade is required, we obtain the correct cutting information by decoding the lock or another suitable method. We cut the replacement and check its mechanical operation before handover.
Key Programming
The replacement key is programmed using the procedure required by your vehicle, through the diagnostic port or with bench work where needed. We test its operation and explain whether missing electronic keys have been removed from memory. An old mechanical blade may still open an unchanged lock.
